Since 2024 neotares has been supporting Oldenburgische Landesbank on its journey toward a new work environment and has designed the office space for its Frankfurt location. The mandate covered the entire process from the search for suitable rental space, requirements analysis and support during lease negotiations through concept development to full implementation management. In April 2026 around 300 employees moved into the 3,600 square meter space in the OPTIONS complex in Frankfurt’s Europaviertel district.
At the heart of the office concept is an understanding of collaboration that actively encourages interaction and knowledge sharing. The 190 workstations are used in a desk sharing model and are complemented by a diverse range of spaces that offer many additional ways of working. Open areas invite collaboration, while retreat spaces and focus offices that can be booked by the day enable concentrated or confidential work right next to the team’s home base. A large share of the area has been deliberately reserved for meeting and social zones. A generous team lounge and several meet and talk areas, each located close to one of the four kitchenettes, create places for informal exchange and just as easily invite people to take a break.
Alongside the workplace concept neotares was responsible for the overall interior design concept including the color and material scheme. High end visualizations supported the decision making process and made the ideas tangible at an early stage. The realized concept relies on calm colors and a variety of custom built in wood elements whose surfaces give the spaces a high quality and warm feel. For the entire space neotares produced the construction documents and coordinated the tendering and awarding process. For the meeting and conference rooms the team also developed a fully integrated AV and media technology concept.
The result is a workplace that not only delivers in terms of functionality but also strengthens the joy of working together on site. A rooftop terrace with an outdoor kitchen will further enhance the overall offering.
