neotares took on a comprehensive service package that included project management, conceptualization, design, and implementation of the new office environment. This also encompassed schedule and cost control, tenders for furniture and extensive carpentry work, as well as relocation management and the return of the previous office spaces.
The focus was on an efficient and adaptable space utilization concept that enhances the quality of the workspaces and promotes collaboration. As a result of this conceptual optimization, the total floor area was reduced by nearly 4,000 square meters—or about one-third—compared to the previous office layout. At the same time, the number of workstations was strategically adjusted from 350 to 300, while additional communication and collaboration zones were created. In addition to the offices designed in collaboration with the architectural firm CSMM, the new work environment offers spacious conference and meeting rooms, lounge areas, and a work café with a barista bar, all of which sustainably strengthen encounters, exchange, and interdisciplinary collaboration.
Bettina Daimer, project manager at neotares, explains: “With our design, we create a high-quality, customized work environment that perfectly suits the client. To coordinate colors, materials, and patterns, we used not only extensive swatches but also targeted 3D visualizations to give the client a realistic overall impression in advance. On this basis, we jointly developed tailor-made solutions that combine elegance, functionality, and flexibility. The result is an office environment in which the materials and furniture, the accent lighting, and the custom-made fixtures meet the client’s high standards.
